Hope you also will take a look at GlobalGiving.com. The "ebay of philanthropy' (so says the NYT) allows donors to choose the specific impact they want to have and get feedback from their chosen project on how the project is using thier money and what the impact is. OVer 500 projects all over the world. Person to person, bottom up philanthropy changes the world.
