This is nothing new! This is duplication of Lumapath which invented the first contextual relevant toolbar in the Web 1.0 space.

I'm a developer and i just went to their developer's site to check on some of their stuff. Pretty interesting platform. At least developers are not bounded by facebook or myspace platforms now.

Vysr is on to something....could be really big if there's a critical mass of developers who latch onto this platform. From what I can see the small Roam About apps look relatively easy to generate. I like how I just dont have to rely on accessing a variety of apps in the Facebook ecosystem. instead, i can use them anywhere on the web ....
