But FriendFeed is totally useless if none of your friends have signed up for it! I set it up and added all my services BUT since none of my friends are using it, I only see my OWN stuff. What a waste of time.

You can manually setup "imaginary" friends which allows you to follow people who aren't using FF but it's a totally manual process and just trying to setup one friend was too tedious to for me. If it would just import the people I'm following (from the services I've already setup in FF) it would be useful. In it's current incarnation, it is NOT.

I agree; I was very disappointed with the service. It's using the Facebook "pull your friends in" policy which absolutely kills me.
