Comments on: No clown, Hulu looks great

Much-maligned video site that offers TV shows in their entirety provides high-quality viewing experience.

We recently purchased a 42 inch Toshiba LCD HDTV for our bedroom. I noticed it had a VGA port and a audio jack similar to the one in the back of our PCs. My laptop has WiFi ... I have a NetGear Range Max router with great coverage all over the house ... Hmmm ...... What's that smell? (i.e. wood burning!!!)

Went to Staples got a VGA extender (male to male) cable for $10, stepped by Radio Shack and got a PC audio cable ($3), connected my laptop VGA port to the TV, connected my laptop's headphone jack to the TV via the PC audio cable, switched the input on the TV to PC and HELLO ..... Hulu on the big 42 inch LCD!

Wife got to watch the last '2' episodes of "Burn Notice" she missed and I got to watch the last "2" episodes of BSG (Battlestar Galactica) I missed. No pixeling, no hiccups and beautiful full-screen video!!!

Cable, Satellite? Who needs that?

M.
