First i like to say YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF MISLEADING PEOPLE.
you must of been one of them kids that was always in trouble for not doing your homework, second you must pay IN cash for a pyramid scam, yuwie has better controlled content
i learned more about the net in one month on yuwie than i did in years. meet a lot of real great people
If you were half as smart as your pretending to be you would put this blog on yuwie and get paid for it. 500000 hits in one month i bet . you have a right to what you believe in but you also have a moral obligation to tell the truth, you HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT
i think its very unfair that some one might see this blog and believe your uneducated bull trying to RIP them off of a chance to meet some really good people and make a buck.
JOIN then come back with your rant thats the fair thing to do.

Yuwie si the BEST social networking site on the internet.... not because it pays its users but because it CARES abouts its users and content.... Yuwie is PG 13 rated... they will not allow certain things on their site... this is why I give them 100% of my time and energy to the site... I am also on myspace but they are the worst for controlling content... on any given day I am hit up with people looking for a date, girls on cams, cybering, porn, ringtones and more crap that I will not accept because I have my profile set to accept all comments... myspace is NOT COOL is a pool for porn and perverts to gather... this is why I will not allow my 15 year old by any means sign up for myspace... there content is uncontrollable and if you are a parent I would send all kids 14+ over to Yuwie where they control their content... they will not allow the following on there.... no nudity!!! no bad language!!! no porn!!! no inappropriate articles!!! plus now Yuwie has its own radio show... thats right folks its own radio show on www.nowlive.com. can you say the same for myspace... I think NOT!!!

I am sorry to hear that you think of Yuwie as a pyramid scheme. It does NOT have all the elements of such a thing! Referrals are NOT the most important aspect of this site. I have been on Yuwie since it's first month, and had nothing but positive results. Yuwie is the very best place to network, and develop friends. If you did a little more research, and joined, and stayed for any length of time, you would understand how it works. It is apparent from your description that you do not understand the TOS, or the plan.

THIS IS TO ALL OF YOU WHO THINK YUWIE IS A SCAM AND ARE ACCUSING US OF CREATING FAKE ACCOUNTS!!!!

First of I'd just like to say that the ONLY reason these accounts were created a few seconds before posting is because like me, these people didn't even know this site existed and just came across it. And as soon as I saw it, I created an account so I could reply to you.

I'm a very real person, nothing fake about me, my yuwie profile id is http://r.yuwie.com/juliebray

My facebook account is
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=775725021

and my myspace account is
http://juliesinthehouse.spaces.live.com/default.aspx

So if you still don't beleive i'm real person, my name is julie bray, i'm 25 yrs old, I'm from Bathurst, NB, Canada, I was born on september 18, 1982......Do I have t keep going?

Do you really think yuwie people have enough time to waste on their hands to go around and create fake account to reply to you? I'm sorry but you're not THAT important!

I've been on yuwie for 2 months now and I LOVE it, the people are great, the features, tools, everything they offer is true. I don't understand how you can go around talking like this about a site you don't even wanna try.
Not that you should join Yuwie, I don't think you would be very much liked there but how can you judge something without knowing anything about it???

Yuwie is fun, easy and fun and the fact that they pay the users is just a bonus.
And yes they really do pay! There is a lot of people on yuwie that don't even care about the money and just wanna make friends and socialize.

There are great group with great people. I have started a few group as well, one of which is a memorial group for 7 students and a teacher killed in a car accident in my home town. I have hundreds of members who post condolences and offer their support.

How can you say it's all a scam!

Exactly who do you think you are? You have no idea what yuwie is.
If you can approve of facebook, why can't you approve yuwie? It's the exact same thing! Just because they pay doesn't make it bad!

Well, for someone who said that we were all fake and made-up accounts to post comments and would never be active here again, ...

I've been stopping by everyday and you still haven't replied to my post...

What does that tell ya!???

Still think we're all fake???

Yuwie is great, try it out and stop blabbing about something you don't know...

I am a member of Yuwie and I'm not being paid to come on here and spit out bs. So what I have to say is real. Yes, people do get paid on Yuwie. I've seen it myself. However it is not a get rich quick thing. Its the popular people who have tons of friends who they can easily talk into signing up under their referral links who make the tons of money. Those people are getting paid enough where they only log in around pay day. The thing about how friendly people are?? Um I've met maybe 4 people who have been friends and conversated with me and those people are my brother and some old school friends of ours. The others never ever try and talk to me or anyone else. The only response you ever get from them is some huge glittery picture saying "Thanks for the add". Umm no spam? Do I need to post screen shots here of the bazillions of bulletins and blogs and comments that are filled with "make money at home" ads?? That place has way more spam than MySpace could dream of. Oh and let me tell you, when I first signed up and got a good look at Yuwie I thought I had stepped into porn bot hell. Majority of the female profiles on that site all have pictures of bikini clad ***** in come do me pose. MySpace has nothing on their number. People make tons of complaints on myspace about the spam. If you are getting spam on myspace, you are doing something wrong. I have never gotten spammed on myspace ever. Even before MySpace put in the captcha and other things to block out spammers. I never got one bit of spam on that site. If you are seeing ads you need to learn Firefox and Adblock. Its not that hard. I enjoy my friends on myspace far more than Yuwie. They actually talk to me and I have way more of my friends on there. I enjoy reading the bulletins and laughing at the funny stuff they post. In Yuwie bulletin board I see nothing like that. Its all people trying to get adds and page views. Yes myspace has those people but not as much as Yuwie. I'm only on Yuwie for making a little extra money on the side. But I do like myspace better.

Yuwie is one of the most simple brilliant ideas in a long time. NOONE is getting sold out. You do not have to participate. Nor do you have to "go get friends" That's not myidea of a friend anyways. But you CAN make money, no probation period, by simply doing what you do on the other networks. I love it. I have fun on it find many inspirational things. It has a multilevel mrketing character in one sens except hello your not selling ahything! If peopl want to use it as a marketing thing or for their business it is no different than tehother networks oh well except you DO get paid. oh and I AM a real user and if you say I am not then YOU commit the tort of defamation. chekc me out on my page my user id is 684584. I control who makes comments on my page who can view it, noone invades my space or is allowed to put garbage on it. There is NOTHING wrong with the idea that the maker of Yuwie shares his profit while the other site makers do not. Sharing is nice ya know? If you do not want to get paid for doing some of the work on the sites, like so many users do, fine. I have NO OBJECTION to getting paid for having fun with my friends. I only have friends who I really consider friends also. If others just want friends to get paid that is their thing. The getting paid is an incentive to compete with the big established greedy non profit sharing sites thats all. And it is a great idea!

I've signed up with both Yuwie and Zenzuu in hope of making money. Both don't even pay close to what 6DGR pays. For example you get $4 per referral vs 15 cents only with Yuwie and not even sure what Zenzuu pays but it's in the same lines as Yuwie. I've talked to members who have been on there for a year+ busting their butts to build a network of people on both networks just to make < 50/month. Plus with 6DGR you get paid monthly residuals on what your network spends on their 6DGR debit card usage.

I've already made enough with 6DGR that I can stay at home to work and care for my kids. They and I totally love 6DGR. They are my cheer leaders seeing my number of referrals go up every minute. Here is my #'s below. I'm already #1 in the company for the month (took me 3 1/2 days to do) and will overtake the #1 spot in the company YTD (all in just lil over a week.) I've also got 1/2 of the top 25 money makers in the company since I personally teach each one to do what I do so they can be as successful or more so than me. I'm an internet newbie and still am learning everyday this whole internet stuff and how to make it work for me :-)

My current network #'s as of 8/19 @ 2:10 PM

My Network

108 Friends 1 degree away @ $4 my personal referrals
137 People 2 degrees away @ $3 2nd level
27 People 3 degrees away @ $2 3rd level
_________________________________________________
272 People in my direct Sponsored Network = $867

Plus I'll get monthly residuals of $489.50 if everyone spends at least $100 each on their 6DGR debit card, which isn't hard to do at all. I make more than $100 in a day.

Total projected earnings for just a lil over a weeks work and starting P/T, w/o internet experience, and w/o spending a single penny yet ====== $$$1,356.50.

Amazing, I absolutely love 6DGR and can't say enough good things about it. Check out my youtube video that explains it all with the link below and sign up with the link below ASAP. Don't wait another minute.

Youtube Video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EOJGNeeHmw

Did you fall for all the Hype around Yuwie? I did...

We've all heard that Social Networking is the next big thing. Most of us (Myself included) jumped all over Yuwie before we realized the downside. The payscale is horrible. The vast majority of people there are making nothing, or maybe a few cents (Yes, Cents) per month. None of us will be retiring on a few cents per month. Also, you have to have views to get paid, so we all send and receive as many friend requests as we can, until we have friend lists thousands deep, and no one talks to each other anyway. A thousand friends you never talk to is less useful than one that works with you as a teammate. We are marketing everything backwards. Why is Myspace so popular? Well, for one, the people there are actually having fun. They are exchanging ideas, interests, and just hangin out. So why do we keep marketing these sites as business opportunities? Bringing people in, and driving them nuts with advertising and spam? The process should be much simpler. Social Networking MUST be "SOCIAL". Yuwie could have been a great site, rivalling even the giants of social networking if it was handled correctly, and people could have made some money (though for anything big, the payscale would need to be fixed) That being said, I think Yuwie is already too far gone. There are too many people stuck in their ways, and I think the potential has been lost. But.........There is still hope out there... Small sites, and relatively new sites can learn the Yuwie lesson. And we can learn from the mistake. As I said earlier, the pay scale needed to be fixed. I have found a few sites that seem to have corrected this problem. and One in particular (while marketing oriented and prepared to create wealth) is still small enough to maintain a "social community". I, for example have created some Disney clubs for our Disney Cast Members to hang out. A forum for Disney fans to exchange stories and pictures, and just generally get to know each other. Perhaps you could create a group or groups around your own interests. Something you could enjoy, and make money on at the same time. And there's an added bonus in all this.... If you've already made the big mistake in social networking, then you already have a group of people who need you're help. People who are unhappy with the empty promises, and looking for a better way. Lets get to know each other, work together, and offer these people the help they so desperately need. ...But I found a way to make the best of Yuwie, and I'll show you how too... If you managed to avoid Yuwie, or always thought it would not live up to the hype, then Congratulations. You managed to avoid the effort, but may have missed the lesson. The same lesson I hope Im showing you now, and the same one that so many Yuwie members still need to learn ...And so, after all that negativity, it does provide a platform where we can teach people to do it right. Because of that, I would say that joining Yuwie can be used to your advantage, as long as you know that it will likely never be a significant or direct source of income. Join, and spread the message of where it went wrong, and how we all can correct it. Help your teammates, your friends... don't just abandon your team like so many others do, but rather help them grow (which will help you grow) If you understand the difference between "social" networking, and yuwie, then you can use those very lessons to make money. Not only for yourself, but for your entire team. And better than that is you can actually have fun doing it. The original dream Yuwie wanted to fufill, can finally be accomplished (though it takes a different approach and a new generation of social networking. Can 6dgr be the start of that revolution? I Think So, but we need Your help. Once you sign-up for 6dgr, Message me. I want your success as much as my own, because they are one and the same. Let's work together to do it right, this time. So what's the bottom line??? Yuwie can be an interesting tool to develop your business, but must not be the heart of your business... Some people may disagree, and thats okay, but if you'd like to see my plan in action, drop by my site and join us @

I've made a few hundred off the site and now my profile is locked. However, my team is still growing by 100s of new people every week so it's all good. I've got some wicked stats posted on my Yuwie Blog.

I've earned over $1,562.00 from Yuwie so far. I have over 27,000 people in my referral tree. I started out by inviting 11 people. They invited some friends & so on, and so on. Now I get checks every month from Yuwie for all my referrals activity. 100% free to join and I'm getting paid every month just for telling people about it. Pretty cool. Come visit me! ww1.yuwie.com/profile/?id=226

You know what I like? How every Yuwie fanboy and girl all created new accounts to fanatically defend it and all say the same things and then shamelessly link their accounts just to make (literally) a couple more cents. I don't see any variety in what they have said, it's like the damm site has a machine devoted to spamming places with the same comments.

I admin a very popular Facebook group, and due to it's popularity it gets spammed by ad-bots for money making scam sites daily, prompting simple deletion of posts and banning of the profile, and Yuwie was no different, in fact thats how I first heard of it, when people spammed the exact same posts about it. I never thought Myspace or Facebook did that around the internet, yes I know they are free but I've dealt with bots just spamming free stuff anyway. In a sense that shameless lugging of the place was an instant scam alert in my brain. because any decent site would not have to resort to that.

My point is; you are hardly going to make anything from to aside from at most a measly few dollars a month! You can't live on that and it's a pitiful supplement to your income: I doubt University students with the amount they pay out to study will find it much of a consolation and those who make tons will barely notice how much they pull in from Yuwie. You're hardly making friends at all, just adding people you will never talk to you just to gain an extra one or two cents to a meagre monthly income on there, only those at the top and have been there for years are really going to profit, showing it's a pyramid scheme. I would like to see how exactly they can sustain the site and still pay out money to everyone, because if these Yuwie fanatics are right in claiming each month 1000's more are joining it then the guys in charge must be paying out ******* tons! How much money do the creators earn?

There has to be a limit to this: you'd make more money from the dole and unemployment benefits then on Yuwie. The only reason you make so many friends is because your climbing over one another to grab at the small amounts of pennys around. No-one actually talks to you or gives a damm about you from the pages I viewed, I am not a member of it and I will never be, because I know I would be joining the legions of people who have deluded themselves into thinking they are making a profit and sharing that with 1000's of others. I stick to Facebook because I know the people on there are friends who i have tons in common with, who i share things with and who actually talk to me and take an interest in what i am up too.

I expect some Yuwie Fanboy will read this and instantly sign up to try and shoot me down, and if so why don't you go ******* yourself. I know you will just post the exact same arguments which have been said by the countless others above and will not bring anything new to the table, then you will link me to your page in a pathetic attempt to make me change my mind and in shallow advertising plug just in the hopes I can add 1 cent to your income and then won't talk to me again after saying "Nice page." or "Thanks for the add.".

If yuwie did charge a free for its services it would still be legal because it meets the requirement of providing a product or service. Which online services are paying you to dog out yuwie? Yuwie has almost a million satisfied customers. Not all of them are interested in making money off yuwie. Some use it because they value its products and service. I see these Multi Level Marketing websites as the wave of the future. How can you compete if you only have a free service and your competitor is offering the same service and rewarding its customers for its use? I don?t see anything wrong with getting paid to use free online services.

As an inactive member of Yuwie I would like to share my experience with the site. I am not an internet saavy marketer...like oldbuddy or Vic who have replied to this post. I quickly learned that you had to be, to get the numbers they are speaking of. But, I am a loyal member (even though inactive) of Yuwie. I was there for the wonderful and talented friends I made. In the beginning, members were helpful and supportive of one another. I chose to stop being active on Yuwie due to the adminstrator's (Korry aka YGuy) inability to deal with problems that have developed on the site. Charges of favoritism, cheating (referral poaching) and bullying that are allowed to go unchecked are the major reasons cited by those who have left. Said administrator asks for proof of wrong doing and when it is sent to him he does little or nothing. In the early days you could get locked for the slightest infraction of the TOS. Now, Korry seems unable or unwilling to address these issues.
Cliques have formed at Yuwie as a result of the competitive atmosphere generated by the site paying it's members. Some members are even calling for the site to STOP paying its members as a result of the greedy mindset taking over the site. Ego's are another problem....some members have utilized Ustream to create what is called Yuwie Radio. For the most part the shows are fun and creative. One show in particular, though, has become a way for one member to bully and harrass other members. Some members have accused this wannabe DJ of allowing racial jokes, gay bashing and sexual innuendos on his show. And when members question this in their blogs or on the notice board....they are harrassed, bullied and slandered by said DJ and his downline. This behavior in the early days of Yuwie would not have been allowed, but it is my opinion that the site's administrator has either given up....or is showing favoritism for members who have extensive downlines and hence lots of page views.
I am inactive, but remain loyal. Why? Yuwie was and is a place to meet many talented and friendly people. I remain in contact with friends there who stay despite these problems....hoping to change things. They are and will be lifelong friends due to their character and wisdom. Yuwie could be turned around...if it stopped paying it's members! It is this commentor's opinion that greed and avarice have ruined what was a fun, happy place.

Yuwie could have been a good idea had it been given a bit more thought and planning. As for the money side of things, I think you'll find that only the people who have really aggressively pursued building a downline are making any money. And we're not talking "quit your day job" money, but possibly a couple hundred dollars a month tops. The problem is that only a small handful are making the money and the rest of us get to eat at Taco Bell every 3 - 6 months, if that. The site features are not anything special and it desperately needs a music section, and there are so many error messages and intrusive ads, not to mention spamming and other annoying behavior. But there was one unexpected very positive side effect of the whole money making thing. Because Yuwie pays based on page views, the mentality, especially early on was "add friends, add friends" and as many as possible. People on other sites are not usually so open. And because of it I have met an incredible number of really nice, smart, interesting people. If the site goes belly up, and with their numbers lately, that would not totally surprise me, at least I will have made some good friends.

www.funbyu.com is also a social network that is works a revenue structure for its members. unlike yuwie it does not have a pyramid structure and also no referrals.

Its purely based on the activities you do. you earn points for each activity which get converted to credits and there is a price for each credit and you get paid. there is no pyramid, its flat price for your credits.

well the website is new, but its really worth a hit since there is nothing to lose.

OK - after reading this artical and the comments that were posted and as a member of one of the top rated social network sites on the internet, let me tell you why the artical is incorrect

I came and joined Yuwie in October of 2007 after a friend of mine came to me and told me about the site. I joined with the same concern as everyone else who most likely does. WHAT IS THIS? DO THEY REALLY PAY? IS THIS A SCAM?

Well let me answer each one of these questions - WHAT IS YUWIE? Yuwie is one of the top social network sites on the internet that you can do all the same functions you can on Myspace, Facebook, My Yearbook and etc. The only difference is instead of being greedy like other social network sites, the owner came up with the idea of giving back to the members. He does this by paying the members a percentage of the rsr each month for their time spent on the site. DO THEY REALLY PAY? Yes you can really make money on Yuwie. I have made $297.63 on the site personally and joined for free just like everyone else can. That is a 100% profit. And this is all done by just going to the site and checking in with friends and leaving them a comment or sharing updated photos. IS THIS A SCAM? Well if you think of making money for having fun is a scam - then yes it is.

Yes - it is true, if you tell your friends about the site and have them join under you, you also get credit for their personal views as well and so on down the line. Honestly what is wrong with that? How many of your friends did you tell about Myspace and other sites and they joined it?

In regards to those who say that Myspace, Facebook and etc.., is better, that is awsome and have a great time on those sites, but keep this in mind - all those ads that are popping up on the other sites are making the creator rich each day and you do not benefit anything from it.

I also see a comment that people are talking about there are also Yuwie Comments and that is also a scam. Well, is there not Myspace Comments as well? Yes there is. Are those a scam as well? HHHMMMM - room for thought there. If you are looking for other comment codes besides Yuwie or Myspace then you can always get them at sites like CLUB FLASHBACK at www.clubflashback.com

Yuwie is to Myspace, Facebook and etc..., like everything else in life. It is competition for those other social network sites. These sites know this and this is why if you try to tell your friends about it on these other sites, they block and remove any comment that has the word Yuwie in it.

Yuwie is also the first Social Network Site to come along with a live radio broadcast chat room where you can hang with your friends and listen to a variety of music. No other social network site has ever thought of this. Yes I am one of the broadcast host and you can check my shows out every Saturday and Sunday starting at 7pm PST and Monday starting at 8pm PST at www.yuwie.com/yuwieradio

Finally, Yuwie is a great site and it is NOT a SCAM. You can make a lot of true friends on it, get paid for having a little fun on it, and cost you nothing to join. I have made many true friends on Yuwie including my wife and have met alot of my friends face to face including the owner.

If you are intrested in getting to know more about the site you can do so at http://r.yuwie.com/flashback
