Comments on: I don't need 8hands to reach my friends
Maybe I'm a friendless curmudgeon, but I removed 8hands from my computer.

Say No to boxed software! The future of applications is online delivery and access. Software is passé. Webware is the new way to get things done.

Web sites launch all the time, but they also shut their doors. We highlight 15 that bit the dust this year.
Let the debate begin: Was the iPhone more important than iTunes? Was anything bigger than Google finding a great business model? CNET offers its list of the 10 most important stories of the '00s.
Thank you for taking the time to review 8hands.
We were very sorry to hear of your disappointment from 8hands. However, since the product is still in its very early Alpha stages, every comment, suggestion and remark about 8hands is very much appreciated, since we're still working towards making it better and better.
We have taken to our attention all the technical issues you have encountered, issues which will be solved on the next version of the client. Adding more social networks to 8hands (including Friendster, of course) is also on our top-priority "To-Do" list, as also stated on our website.
As for your and our users' privacy - we see the privacy issue as the most important one. We will go over our privacy statement and make sure things are 110% clear. The bottom line is that we will never, never ever reveal your private details to anyone else.
Thanks again Elsa for your comments. We do hope to have you back on board with the next version of 8hands.
Cheers,
Maya.

I have downloaded 8hands after reading the Mashable review and in all I was very happy about her doing the job. I also like the look and the interface.
and when you come to think about it - there's no one else that gives you the same benefits, I've tried tagger before and the notifications are not in real time and you must open your browser in order to use it - I much prefer to have it on my desktop and keep doing my daily stuff on my computer while I know I'll get alerts when someone post a new comment on my blog / flickr page etc.
- Amazing tool!

This app. is one of the coolest and the useful I run into...
really easy and friendly to use.
True - still suffers from a lot of alpha issues but definitely a brilliant idea!
