Thanks for the review!

Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for the review, and point out that we actually do not recommend you automatically forward all of your email to Highrise. Highrise is not a substitute for your email application; you can use it to store significant correspondence that is a major part of a particular person's history with you, but if you try and store all of your correspondence in Highrise it'll get lost in a hurry.

Thanks again!

Nice tool - not really a CRM

Highrise looks to be a interesting product. They do seem to have ease of use down, but might be limited by a lack of features.

A true contact manager it is not. Highrise is more of a 'People Wiki'. They are missing way to many features to make it useful for a sales team or small business.

If I may add a shameless plug, Big Contacts http://www.bigcontacts.com is in an open beta right now, and launching on April 1st. Up to 500 contacts and 3 users for Free. And a complete contact manager functionality. Might be worth looking at/writing about.

Highrise raises a high barrier for new customers

I like the slick interface, however, I quickly learned that importing contacts from popular programs requires purchase and installation of third party programs. Apparently importing your address book requires first exporting and creating "multi-person vCards" whatever they are. This is a huge barrier for new customers and one which ended my trial.

Hi guys!
I just wanted to tell you about my experiences with HR.
I'm the happy user of "deals" and I have found a cool add-on that shows my deals in an interactive dashboard that everyone in the company can view. There is no signup and NO implementation. What I have done is simply opening the dashboard in my browser and entering my HR user name. My numbers come to life!
You might enjoy it:
