I worry about these 3rd party apps that require you to enter your login information. Is there a risk they can "phone home" your password info to the widget author?

You left off Tweetdeck, which enables users to post/get status update on both their Twitter account and Facebook account.

Better yet is the New Widget at MyHomeDVR.com which lets you share and watch your recorded tv.
