another great film related social network exists on www.makingof.com. work checking out! not only do they have an online community sections with forums dedicated to films and the filmmaking process, they have many behind the scenes interviews about movies in theaters and in production, and advice for filmmakers from big name directors, producers, screenwriters, actors, and the like!

Another great site is Flickchart (http://flickchart.com). Rather than "rating" movies, it lets you "rank" movies in a system where you are given a choice between two movies, and you choose which you like better. Much better than the old "five-star" system. They've got various social networking features, including the ability to post discussions on any movie comparison, rankings of users, friends lists, and more.

For more info and reviews on the site, check out recent posts about Flickchart at Lifehacker.com and Cinematical.com

They're still in beta, but apparently they're going live soon. In the meantime, you can sign up for a beta account from their home page.

http://Filmaster.com is missing...

Think of Filmaster as of a Friendfeed meets Last.fm for movies. Blog, discuss, comment, rate and get recommendations. And it's open source / open content as well.

I understand it did not make the top 10 though, as it's a really new social network, still in early beta.
