If you want a real private beta, go to the private development mirror site of bueno.com. It is way cooler than that worthless Google Grand Central phone card site. Unfortunately I am not allowed to tell you the web address.

World of Warcraft had a lengthy public beta. And that's more important than ANY of the betas you listed, except for Hulu. Hulu never killed anyone, but people are dying of exhaustion playing WoW!

I'd say Trillian Astra from this list, but the Halo 3 multiplayer beta was pretty sweet, too.

Where is Windows 7 on the list? That's probably the hottest beta to be in. Well, a lot of persons only want to be in it in hope of getting a freebie at the end.

They said "private beta". Windows 7 had a public beta and now a public release candidate.

Too many patterns in the tech betas.
2 google
3 search engines
2 streaming sites

Then again that is pretty much what the latest things are.
