Some people speculate that this was all an elaborately planned press stung. Press stunt or not it shows both the change of balance of power between social media and corporate media, as well as, that between a "popular" few on social media and everyone else.

I am urging people to show their collective influence by unfollowing Ashton for one day on Monday the 20th - Unfollow Ashton Kutcher Day use hashtag #ufapluskday. Everyone should feel free to follow back on Tuesday if they wish, but on that one day we can show that we can join together and effectively counter the disproportionate power of a few.

aplusk was never on my twitter. What a dork. One day he showed and I have blocked repeatedly, only to have him return. Then I emailed twitter and asked them to remove him. No response.
Now you know how he reached a million. Someone hacked the system or Twitter put him on many accounts to pump up the celebrity status. Little did they realize, little dick heads do not matter to most of us.
