Say No to boxed software! The future of applications is online delivery and access. Software is passé. Webware is the new way to get things done.

Web sites launch all the time, but they also shut their doors. We highlight 15 that bit the dust this year.
Let the debate begin: Was the iPhone more important than iTunes? Was anything bigger than Google finding a great business model? CNET offers its list of the 10 most important stories of the '00s.
I mean if they plan to introduce Addons doesn't that kinda destroy their whole agenda about being simplistic? Then again, they need addons to compete with the fox.
Thanks Don!
also (on today's featured plugs) was Javascript Debugger (which I've not tried) https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/216
May I add a couple of my absolute "must have" Firefox extensions to the list?
- TamperData: view, intercept and manipulate HTTP headers

- Sketching & Prototyping with Firefox: if you need to show your co-workers what that new web page is going to look like, sketch it up within minutes

- XRAY: it's a bookmarklet, or a scriptlet, that lets you x-ray the web page

Again, thanks for your hard work!
IEView should be replaced with Browser View Plus. It not only gives you IE but up to 3 other browsers off the context menu as well as toolbar icons. Mine is set to launch IE, Chrome, Opera and Safari. It can also be set to use other browsers.
FirefoxView should be on this list so you can view a page in FF from IE.
JSView is my preferred way to check the JS and CSS files on a site.
QuickJava's status bar icons are the quickest way to check/set whether Java and JavaScript are running.
Nuke Anything Plus has proven useful in my presentations by allowing me to quickly show what a page would look like without something already on the page.
FireShot for screen grabs (when communicating issues to others) might make the cut too.

Something I've been using lately is IE Tester, which is not a Firefox plug-in, but allows developers to test engines for IE8, IE7 IE6 and IE5.5 on Vista and XP, all in one app. I have just begun using this a few months ago, but I have not come across any problems, so far.
