I almost never find much on Hotjobs or Monster. I think the local craigslist is actually better than those two. But then again, it just might be related more to the specific and limited scope of my profession.

Those sites in general are too big to get any real jobs and are "filled" with spam jobs and MLM schemes. Yahoo and Career Builder specifically.
Indeed usually has older jobs along with simplyhired.

- A late comment, but we actually recommend job seekers focus on more industry related job boards (better success rates) and concentrate on social media channels like LinkedIn, Twitter and even Craigslist. At our site, JobConcierge.com, we have real people who search through over 300 job boards to find the right job and submit applications.
