UStream's live streaming service comes to the iPhone and does it in style. You can browse and search through programming and watch it live on your phone.

Can you do email while it is streaming ? Respond to a text message ? Check your calendar ? With limited screen size why would you want to "type" on top of what you are trying to see ? Doh ! Steve Jobs didn`t address those or many other issues.

He didn't add a toilet so users could use the bathroom either. Sheeeeesh who cares, use the app to watch shows and stop WHINING!

What sucks about it. I am watching Chris Parillo on my iPhone.

A good app. But would be better if Apple would let Adobe release Flash. So people can watch Justin.TV and Stickam on the iPhone. I would love to watch Leo Laporte on the iPhone, when I'm away from the PC

You should wrote a quick comment to Leo about he should stream in ustream too, and you can watch him from your phone. Ustream rocks, I love this app.

Until you can stream over 3G this app is crippled. If I have access to a wi-fi network then the chances are I either have my laptop with me or I am not interested in watching television. The usefulness of this application completely disappear when you tie it to wi-fi hotspots.

If you like sitting at Starbucks or at your house and watching TV on the small screen go ahead and this application will more or less do what it promises but for those of us who want to stream television ANYWHERE this application falls flat on its face.

I would rather have load screens and wait for buffering than not have the ability at all. Application deleted.

"Watching shows on UStream on the iPhone is a breeze, the connection drops and Wi-Fi requirement might kill some of the fun though."

Isn't that a glaring contradiction? The video and audio quality can't be amazing if they are missing in chunks...

I tried ustream and there is little value in it for me. I am not interested in 50 different puppy cams, a half dozen aquariums, kitties, or a view of people dancing in a nightclub. The other streams held no interest for me either.
