Pretty interesting! I haven't found many other sites using FB Connect yet, but maybe more will jump on the bandwagon soon.

It's nice for me, as I don't have a CNET ID and I didn't have to make one. And since I stay logged in to Facebook throughout my Internet browsing, I won't have to worry about logging in to every site I want in order to interact as a full member. But the interactions made possible through Facebook Connect will show up within my Facebook profile. So Facebook is, potentially, becoming a News Feed for all of my Internet activity (like Friend Feed currently allows). This moves Facebook beyond its Facebook-Only world into the rest of the Internet.

Great idea! Unfortunately cnet has buried this feature into their UI so it isn't very visible.

I would have been far more excited to see you go with Google Friend Connect.

But then Cnet always has been pro Microsoft.

You have chosen to align yourself with the loser in the race for the
social network of the future.

Google already has Facebook beat hands down, you are just to short sighted
to see it.
