Strange that you think this is new. DataMystic has been offering an automatic detach and send of large attachments via its Outlook AddIn to its attachment site www.detachpipe.com

Yes, this particular entry is kind of weird considering that sites enabling large file tranfers have been around for quite some time now, and that this is just an add on. Anyway, 2large2email, which I use, has served me quite well thus far. Don't see any reason to defect.

I think having to install is still such a pain, public com or shared com normally does not hav the right to install 3rd party apps. that's why im using hibernater.com to save and resume my work. it's also integrated with internet explorer and firefox to save my current websites. serving me well.

Installing is time consuming. I have heard of people using Otengo (www.otengo.com). Registering takes about a minute. This software uses broadband email allowing you to send email attachments with unlimited size. Its hassle free. The files can download while you are working, anf you are able to view them instantly. I have found it easier to use than yousendit.
