I think selling Twitter for business is their best chance of generating revenue. As an active Twitterer, I'd certainly be willing to pay a reasonable membership rate a year.

BTW, you have a type up above Rafe.

I think they have to ignore revenues for the moment and focus on growth and scale as I doubt companies will pay with the economy as it is. Sprinkle some light advertising, weather the recession, and then go hog wild with premium accounts, enterprise accounts, analytics, etc.

You bring up a lot of great business models. I am new to the whole concept of what types of business models work best, but I also think that Darwin Gillett, also points out some great business models in his newest book, "Noble Enterprise.

Advertising and Sell enterprise-level services are my choices. But I would be willing to pay for premium services as long as they don't take away services then expect us to pay for them.
