Useful new feature if you deal with a lot of the same message.

The probability of needing to send the same mail t multiple people and/or on multiple occasions seems pretty rare

I'm not sure (I don't think so though) but I reckon some of the API's may be. Checkout Google Code site or API site.

I guess i have seen Auto-Replies thousands years ago with other engines Like Hotmail which will inspire alot of users i believe with new changes, am testing the beta Hotmail and it looks great, much faster, as well i can have that auto-reply with my Outlook through the new Microsoft Hotmail Connector and utilize the amazing features available in Outlook as well still can use the Hotmail in the cloud ..

All the ways, good step from GMail team though into making this gmail service more productive .. But will they compete Microsoft Office Live Wave 3 which can run on Desktop, Mobile and Cloud as will they will extend as promised their Live Object Model to include more access to Live Mail Web Services which means allow people to make much powerfull Mail Systems that are fully integrated with Live IDs. Don't forget that with new Windows Live Wave 3 your Email Storage is Unlimited !!!!! .. and with the new Calendar you can track your Friends Birthdate and Events that has public access which is WoW ..

Let's wait and see the two Giants what will bring !!

Perfect for me, I handle daily work-related e-mail with a lot of typical queries.

But I would like it to keep the incoming text in my response.
