Going back to its roots, Ask.com now displays answers to questions directly on its results pages.

I'm sorry but no one cares. You either use Google or Yahoo! that's it. I think I last used Ask whe it was Ask Jeeves. This is not going to get them more hits.

I agree with Swooley, The Google brand carries so much weight these days that a competitor will need to create a solution to 'changes the game'.

You can ask Google any question too to get accurate results. Ask.com has had its day.

I use Ask.com once in a while and it is not bad, except I use Yahoo! the most. Google is used as a last resort. It would be alot cooler if Ask.com would open up it's API as it once did. It would also be cool if BuildaSearch.com could make custom Ask search engines.
