Finally, message attachments. This has been a big issue, glad it's resolved at last. This is what the facebook app should have been like when it was first released, but at least they have worked out a lot of the bugs.

I installed the updated app last night and it is a huge step ahead of the launch version. I did have a minor glitch (keypad began to flash and was unresponsive) but it resolved itself and has been work perfectly. If you are an iPhone owner its a must have.

Agreed, major improvement. Even the interface is a win. I also had the slight issue with the keyboard being unresponsive upon first launch, but otherwise, it's been clean so far. Very nice.

That's strange. I had that issue as well on the first launch. I just figured that it was a fluke after it worked the next time, so I didn't include it in the post.

It took days from adding a friend on the standard Facebook page to show up in the iPhone app version. The bookmarked Web app on my iPhone was better than the initial release. So, I'll eagerly try out the updated app.

ditto on the other comments- I was using the web app b/c it was better than the original version of this where the news only included status updates. Now I will use this instead of the web app! Also ditto on the install and keyboard issues. First it told me it could not connect to itunes (after it appeared to download) and then when I tried to launch it the keyboard froze but after that I have not yet had any other problems! Awesome! Also note that it did not show up as an available update on my iphone until I lauched the App store so I am glad CNET told me it was available (granted it has only been out a day!).

I too had the keyboard issue. Exited and restarted it... and the keyboard was gone, except for the go button. Hit Go and it said improper account info, and then the keyboard opened up without issue.
MUCH better than last 2. Quite functional. I think I like it better than the "new facebook".

After a couple of days now I've seen quite a few intermittent bugs.

- In the newsfeeds sometimes I get blank friend updates... no picture, no name, no update text, just the update time (e.g., "37 minutes ago".)

- In Photos sometimes the photo count is wrong, e.g. it says "Showing x out of y Photos" but there is actually less than y images. Also the "Load More Photos" link doesn't always work.

- In Requests, it says "no pending friend requests" even when I did have pending friend requests.

- Posted Items didn't work at all yesterday, seems find today, could be server-side issue.

I don't understand why there are so many different feeds. Are these the same as what's on the website. I like having my regular feed on my iphone, but 10 feeds is a bit much.
Maybe they could release version 1.5 with only the regular feed.

Yes, I'm having the exact same problem. Logging in screen forever. I haven't been able to find a fix anywhere. I have tried logging in as someone else on my ophone and same problem. Please let me know if you find a solution...
