twitter is a fad. its not huge, its a feature thats on facebook already but is used by the demographic that hates the idea of being on facebook in the first place. AKA JOURNALISTS. seriously, where else do you see people using twitter? entertainment business? nope. wallstreet? yea right. sports? no no no. if the people who use twitter can figure out how to do that and spend enough energy making good use out of it, then why cant they create listservs and skip twitter. a direct text. yammer is the same thing. wake up people, twitter isnt that useful
