I just recently started GCal. I'm not a business user so I've been pretty happy with the features right now since I usually use it for single "events" per day instead of planning my day with the calendar. One thing I'm hoping to see is synchronization with funambol. I dont' know if it's a lack of api from google or just bad support from funambol but if I could start syncing my google calendar with my phone it would totally rock.

Totally. An unfortunate side-effect of MobileMe is that Apple will likely never add native Google Calendar syncing goodness to the iPhone because it wants you to shell out for MobileMe to do it for you. Ideally there would be a way to have it go straight to the source like it does with Exchange so if the middleman goes down your calendar does not go with it.

For my phone (running windows mobile 6) I used the program called OggSync http://oggsync.com/ to sync the calender with my phone.

I found this online video (sponsored by Google, of course) Google Apps: Quick Tour really helpful in getting an overview of the entire Google Apps suite. The suite isn't just calendaring, word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. The entire suite includes e-mail, instant messaging and even voice over IP.
