Web sites launch all the time, but they also shut their doors. We highlight 15 that bit the dust this year.
Let the debate begin: Was the iPhone more important than iTunes? Was anything bigger than Google finding a great business model? CNET offers its list of the 10 most important stories of the '00s.
PSP was not supposed to be a phone; it does everything an iPhone does except for touching and make calls.
1) A second analog stick (on the right side of the screen).
2) Bluetooth. (For headphones and peripherals).
3) Increased memory for faster UMD loads.
4) Internal memory storage solution.
Other things that would be nice:
*) Touch screen (preferably a higher resolution).
*) Increased web browsing capabilities/standards.
*) Embedded USB port for connecting your own USB thumbdrive/hard drive.
*) Better, louder speakers.
*) Better video file suport.
*) New location for power/hold switch (Current location can be a nuisance).
Sony, please just take care of the first four. After that, who cares.
2. Capabilities of watching Youtube videos and more
3. More durable *less prone to scratches*
4. Better hardware
5. Slimmer
6. INTEGRATED camera *positioned on the top of the psp, obviously*
7. TV
8. Better than the iPod Touch.
9. Higher quality resolution.
10.Better internet connection. *something that will STAY connected, since i hate being disconnected when i am like 3 feet from my router. and the router is not the problem.*
I dont think though that it would be shipped any time soon say for this Christmas. Its just sony teasing us so that they see what we think, read the comments and try to get as close as they can to please us. They better because the psp is right now their stronger conterder in the market of the video games. With an imminent xbox portable in the market they better step it up.
the list of the previous users are pretty good on depicting what we the consumers want in our pockets and that the psp is perfectly capable of doing if sony tried. I have an ipod touch and I really stoped using my psp because gaming is not all you do in the road and definitively not going to carry a device that doesnt sync to a program to recognize what music i LIKE the most, fix them in to categories for better playlist and thats so big. I also dislike the fact of the resolution in the psp for video viewing and the volume too. YOu just feel as if there is a tad missing in the volume and the videos are impossible to watch under the sun. The second analog stick would be perfect for games that we all love which are call fps. I know you guys know this and you guys just left it out to put it in a future update as part of the logic evolution to the better platform but I think this next one is the right time to do it. I mean heck, im doing this cause im bored as hell but you guys pay individuals to look out for consumer satisfaction and is time for them to get earn their money. If you want my money then get it done like these users already proposed and add these functionalities. psp could be great, so make it that way
Frankly, if this thing comes out without at least a second analog stick, I'm not going to buy it..........not for games anyway. If we at least get built in HDD or flash support then I might get it just for media (oh wait, I could just get an iPhone or an iPod touch for that)..............the ball is in your court Sony, you either want my money or not.
I won't buy another PSP or their games until they figure out that it's a mobile game unit which needs durable cases for games to go along with it.
That could be a p, since they use that weird p that's missing a line. However, the top one has a different looking playstation button then the others, so it may be a fake
What I want to see:
A SECOND ANALOG STICK!!!!! Is that loud enough, Sony?!
I like the idea of a hard drive (30+ GB, maybe offer options?) instead of the UMD slot. [http://Maybe offer games on a CD that can be put in a computer with a burner so you can plug in your PSP and run the CD to auto install it. And also offer downloads both through your computer or PS3 through the playstation store and over the air through WiFi and 3G (see below) on the PSP itself|http://Maybe offer games on a CD that can be put in a computer with a burner so you can plug in your PSP and run the CD to auto install it. Offer 3G through Sprint (like the Kindle) or another provider for OTA downloads, streaming music and videos, and web browsing.
A standard USB slot [or mini B (m) to standard (f) adapter in box] so you can plug in a keyboard for web browsing (bluetooth is another option)
A larger battery for extended play and to be able to use the 3G (maybe 1.5-2k mAh)
Better speakers (If you use an iPod-style hard drive, with no UMD and Memory stick slots, you should have some space to put the speakers)
A better graphics chip and a better processor (use some of that space that you freed up) so that I can play my games at at least ps2 quality
A better web browser (maybe the mobile version of Firefox that's being designed now) that includes Flash
A matte covering, so that there are less fingerprints
Rumble and maybe sixaxis (So the PS3 games that use sixaxis can have a psp version without losing too much
That's all I can think of for now. There are enough updates there to make a PSP2 If you make that, people will buy. What Sony should shoot for is for the PSP2 to be able to play any game for the PS2 at the same quality level. Similarly the PSP 3 should be a small improvement and the PSP 4 should be able to handle PS3 games at the same level.

- wow this looks surprisingly like older one. The blu ray format could be incorporated into UMD's, and so they could hold entire games rather than psp specialised ones. Like when i first played nfs mw on my psp, it was rubbish and boring, but on the pc and ps3 its one of the best games. So they could increase capacities of the blu ray. The sound quality on earphones could be better and louder.
