You have a review for the Panasonic TH-42PX60U but no picture settings. Seems it may have been done just before June 2006.
Do you have settings for that?

Thanks

hey david,I just got a new PRO-IIIFD and it is living up to all the hype.but.no one is talking about all the video noise in the picture compared to my 42 in. panasonic plasma.I'm seeing noise that I just didnot see on the panasonic.is it because the bigger the tv,the more noise you see. and which NR controls did you use.everyone talks about the movie master and commander, how good the below deck stuff looks because of the good blacks, but if you keep watching this movie when they get lost in the fog.I see lots of video noise.can you post what settings work for this.

I just bought a Panasonic TC-P50G10. It is awsome, but in full format mode there is a flickering bright line along the top of the screen. Is this a settings issue?

I could not get into the Pro setting submenu on the TC-P54v10. I was able to get into the Picture menu and the Advanced picture submenu. Those settings made a big difference. I would like to see what the settings would do in the Pro setting submenu

Whatever happened to the days you could turn on the tv and watch a program without worrying about a thousand meaningless settings? Maybe brightness and contrast, that was it. High Tech?

The settings you provide are generally for movies in a dark room, what about the other MAIN reason we all buy these things - Sports, are there any general rules i.e. tru motion off/high/low, that we should be trying?

I notice that the "sport" picture setting on my new LG has the sharpness up and the trumotion on low.

I just purchased a Sony 46v5100. When watching football games and when camera shots aren't close ups, the players are blurry. On close ups the picture looks great. The picture on shots that aren't close up isn't as good as my 16 year old 32 inch Sony!

Any suggestions on adjustments would be greatly appreciated.
