All of HTC's other phones have been on T-Mobile. Odd that Sprint is branching out to this company. It must not have MMS capabilities.

Uhh Sprint has had both the Touch and Mogul and they both MMS, as does 90% of their smartphone/PDA's and most thread also (Centro Palms etc)

As stated Sprint has come out with more HTC phones than Tmobile and AT&T combined. Infact all of Sprint HTC phones have been modified with more RAM and outher resources, The mogul currently does not support MMS, however the new HTC Touch Pro and Diamond do....just a little FYI :) Have a good day

I just purchased a HTC Touch Pro and it has Sprints Picture Mail, not standard MMS. The Picture Mail is only compatible with other Sprint Phones and is not supported by the other carriers. So, you get a quasi MMS that only works with Sprint. The Picture Mail web site states they are working to make the service compatible with other carriers but no guarantee or time frame. While the Touch Pro may be capable of MMS, Sprint appariently is not.

The Diamond has a serious problem. When dialing a number the screen blanks after about 3 seconds. When asked by an automatic switchboard for further user input (say press 1 for tech support, 2 for sales etc.) The user must restart the screen by either switching on again or pulling out the stylus, then press the keypad button, then if the three second "sleep mode" gives you time, enter a number. The screen again blanks, so that any further user input requires you to go through the whole procedure again. Painful. HTC say the setting cannot be changed. Surely a firmware or software upgrade could put this serious flaw right!

To fix that modify the following registry entry as follows --> HKEY_Local_Machine\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL\EnableFastDormantDisplayDuringCall to 0

Looks like its the GSM versions of this phone that have this problem. My Sprint Diamond (pilot) seems to be working just fine.

WOOT!!!! sprint got the htc touch exclusive a longgggg time ago and it is logical for sprint to get the diamond. dude is just like all the palm treos. they always come out for sprint first then the others carrier. the t-mobile network is useless for any smart phone.

I just bought the Touch Diamond a week ago and am quite disapointed with the battery. It doesnt even hold a charge for 12 hours with simple phone usage. If I use any other functions it's a matter of hours and I'm out of cells.

Anyone else experiencing this?????
