Cool news. Though I suspect this will only fuel the megapixel measurebators who are more interested in the specs of their toys than photography itself.

ENOUGH with the megapixel stretching...Please! I'd be more impressed with the chip maker who can produce a CMOS with significantly lower noise. Ask any pro photographer -- it's the NOISE that ruins more shots than lack of pixels.

Fortunately, I think the percentage of "measurebators" among the medium-format crowd is smaller than the 35mm digital consumers. Most of the people that drop $30,000 on a MF camera are more about photography than pixel-peeping.
