Ho-hum... another Palm. Are they even still around?

Palm makes good quality phones. My father still has his trusty Treo 650 and i think the Centro is a great addition to verizon's lineup of smartphones. If it could support vcast and verizon's other offerings than it would be soo much better

I've had Palm smartphones up until June 2007 when the iphone changed the game forever for me. The last straw was the 700p -- complete piece of garbage. Just waiting to hear the news of Chapter 11.

I have the Centro. They are correct, it doesn't include A2DP, but I purchased a nice pair of wireless BT headphones and got A2DP to work with cheap utility called "Audio Gateway". I've had a Palm handheld as long as I can remember, though this is my first Palm cell phone. I do really like it, Pocket Tunes is excellent, even supports my Windows Media Playlists. I don't like the initial screen config for pocket tunes, but there are some very nice skins online for it that make it work and look much nicer in my opinion. I've finally merged my cell and MP3 player. Oh.... and don't forget the 2 or 4GB micro SD card, you'll be glad you got it.

I had three Treos, selected back when BlackBerries were still somewhat limited email devices. I recently switched to a BB 8830 - and it's the real deal. Not a multimedia toy, not the struggling klugefest of a Treo... a real road warrior's tool. Palm never has quite understood how to make a useful product out of their high quality designs.
