Will this modem be among the first group to utilize the new DOCSIS 3.0 Standard that is poised to proliferate the market by the end of 2008?

What a Shame.... I guess the uninformed low end service subscriber will be the end market for this product. They aren't however typically the techie types who are into place-shifting their TV.. Everyone I know with a slingbox is tech savvy on some level and DOCSIS 2.0 won't be satisfactory for them. Since a subscription fee is required for each and every modem provisioned on the cable company's infrastructure, I would choose one DOCSIS 3.0 modem with a Slingbox Solo or HD Pro instead this dumbed down solution.
