To DishNet:
I have viewed the new HD channels that you swapped for the VOOM channels. They are not the same quality as the VOOM channels. The VOOM channels are more for more intellectual types, I guess. I will be switching my service as soon as I find out where I can get the VOOM channels. The new channels you added, you can take them off, as far as I am concerned.

I loved Voom's WorldCinema ,Kungfu ,Animania and equator. I am going to drop Dishnetwork. It does not worth the money I pay without Voom. I hope to see Voom soon again....

Add me to the list of disgusted DISH subs. Disgusted with the way DISH yanked VOOM with no notice or explanation, showing a total lack of regard for their PAYING CUSTOMERS. This is a very, very stupid move and it will come back to bite DISHnetwork. Replacing VOOM with a "new" HD lineup (of mostly up-converted existing programs and pseudo HD channels riddled with commercials) of cable channels is no substitute for the true HD, unique, and commercial free VOOM channels, the ONLY advantage DISHnetwork had over Directv. It will only invite (unfavorable) comparison and further demonstrate DISHnetwork as an also-ran in HD programming. If anything, DISHnetwork needs those PLUS VOOM to compete. Regardless of the contract dispute between E* (DISHnetwork)and Rainbow (VOOM), the consumers are the ones suffering - that is those foolish enough to stick with DISH or unfortunately bound by subscription to Dish Network.

I am very upset about Dish's decision to drop the "Voom" channels as it was by far the best channels on Dish network. I have no interest to watch t.v. since these channels have been removed. I never recieved anything such as a survey asking my opinion of the "Voom" network.
I feel that it should be up to the comsumer as to what they would like to see because they are the ones keeping these satelite networks in business. Even when you go into a Walmart or Circuit City they are always showing the programs on the "Voom" network because of the clarity of their HD channels, this should say something for the network. Other HD channels do not even compare to the ones on "Voom." If Direct tv gets these channels I will pay to break contract with Dish. Please bring back the "Voom" network and make the consumers happy.
Because Dish will lose alot of customers over this issue.

I echo the sentiment here, VOOM has the best HD content I have seen so far, WorldSports with Spanish soccer in HD, the music channel, the cartoon channel, to say the least. I joined Dish because of VOOM. Those were good times.

As a result of Dish's action, I withdrew my subscription, and now with Fios TV. I would not forgive Dish for taking away my favorite channels and would not be their customers again.
