- cquick01 you should know more about the GTA series before you say anything... i will admit that gta3 and vicecity is pretty heavily based on murder, but since the last one san dreas and now gta 4, the developer have included many other game modes that does not include murder and mayhem, such as racing and dating, taxi driving, boxing etc. Although it does include excessive violence, you should take a look at other games such as silent hill or doom series or even call of duty 4, all of these games have violence as their central theme, it is not fair to ban any game just because it is violent, the most you can do is R rate the game, which they did, so you need not worry about people being influenced by it.

Showing 2 of 2 pages (35 Comments)As to "where is our society going when murder and mayhem is called 'entertainment'?'' Human have long entertained themselves from the coloussus to the wrestle rings with violence, and our society is going fine as it is. Plus, now we have came up with an ingenius way of not involving real living beings to satisfy our needs, why abolish it?
