Web sites launch all the time, but they also shut their doors. We highlight 15 that bit the dust this year.
Let the debate begin: Was the iPhone more important than iTunes? Was anything bigger than Google finding a great business model? CNET offers its list of the 10 most important stories of the '00s.

As you can see, the browsers that can actually support Flash 8+ are limited. Heck, until recently even Linux wasn't even on the list of those supporting Flash 8+. Any others are limited to Flash 7, which includes the PlayStation 3, the Wii, and many other miscellaneous devices.
This is partially why YouTube continues to only require Flash 7, making it one of a few sites that'll still work on your PS3. ;)
I think anyone who claims the Xbox 360 is a movie machine is out of their mind. I have tried it four different ways and have been unsatisfied each time:
1) HD-DVD (no further explanation required)
2) Standard DVD (optical drive WAY TOO LOUD!)
3) Served from my PC hard drive via Media Center Extender (360 internal cooling fans are WAY TOO LOUD!)
4) HD movie downloaded to hard drive:
* 360 internal cooling fans are WAY TOO LOUD
* HD movie was 5GB-6GB in size, 720P. A TOTAL JOKE
* The licensing aspect is...well, no solid opinion on it, and it doesn't matter anyway, because I will never watch another movie via my 360
If you honestly think the 360 is a serious device for watching movies, then I feel sorry for you.
I can complain about the PlayStationNetwork as I own a PS3. Heck, Sony promotes this service as free to begin with so understand we are at the mercy of what they feel like doing with their product. I'd rather pay $50/year and have the best experience then what we currently have, which is far from it.

- Nice. I love the PS3, I know that iPod Users may complain, but I love how it functions with my PSP. I love the XMB (Hey, I'm used to it. Had a PSP longer than PS3). PSN has a great friend list, and I love Playstation Store.

Showing 2 of 2 pages (35 Comments)I'm a fan of Blu-Ray, and love the quality. Unlike the Xbox, movie downloads from PSN would take to much space, as they'd need to be Blu-Ray quality.
As we all know, Xbox is a stripped down version of Windows that runs .xbe instead of .exe. Of course it would recognize files in an iPhone. PS3, however, works great with standard products. Everything I've had works in PS3 and it works in Linux. I'm satisfied.
