Comments on: Hummer gets a new (wimpy) phone

Second version doesn't seem to live up to the reputation of its namesake.

I think your a little confused. Sounds like this phone lives exactly up to reputation of its nameplate. Hummers are one of the worst rated SUVs for reliability and ownership cost. (Yet people still buy them!?) I won't even go into the MPG thing. There is nothing macho about the Hummer namesake, unless you consider stupidity and selfishness macho.

yeah, this phone will equal to the terrible ownership and reliability of a jeep, with instead of horrendous gas mileage, it has 2 minute 40 second battery life, made of plastic that rusts, (if that was possible) adding to the insult the weight of a bloated yaris (no offense to toyota, i own a camry hybrid and love it) looking like a camouflage phone as much as i look like a poker playing sean connerey in scotland. This thing is going downhill.

calvin.giroud, actually a Jeep would be much better than the Hummer on any day...

The best phone for a Hummer driver would be one of the Military spec. Nextel phones which just happen to be yellow/black. You can`t beat the iDEN-based PTT network.
