That's the end of the "get free DVDs" offers, I guess

With no competition from the HD-DVD camp, Blu-Ray
manufacturers will not be compelled to offer free premiums to
encourage sales of their players. That's kind of a bummer, since
giving away 5-7 $25 videos certainly took some of the sting out of
a $300-600 purchase. Oh well. Now I just need a 1080P display to
watch 'em on.

i stay with HD DVD.its BETTER ...AND..CHEAPPER...AND THE MOVIES LOOK THE SAME ON BOTH..
