Still prefer free download manager... Too time consuming to have a seperate download manager for downloading from youtube

Vixy.net got so annoying to me. it's great when it works but half the time my videos would stop like halfway through or would never start at all. i use the firefox extension DownloadHelper now cause it can extract almost anything from any page without having to leave the browser. just a pulldown menu and the little balloons rotate if there is something downloadable on the page. only downside is it doesnt convert stuff.

Try the MP4 Downloader (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/9915) - It's still "experimental", but it works well - downloads and converts to MP4 in one process. Also, mediaconverter.org used to be pretty good, but it hasn't been working lately. You can find millions of online YouTube downloaders on Google - http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Free+Online+YouTube+Downloader

YouTube Downloader 2.1.6 is the best and FREE. 24/01/08 Due to changes on YouTube it's available 2.1.6 version on official website! Bienesoft guarantee it virus free.

What we really need is a FLV viewer on smartphones. With 3g growing and more phones than ever getting wifi, I still can't believe that there are no Flash players for WM 6, BlackBerry and Symbian phones. Since I only go to sites like YouTube when I'm bored, I really don't want to take the time to download a video and sync it up with my phone just in case I have free time.

amen. i would love to have an FLV player for my WM6 Q9m. i use a combination of a program called TCPMP and YTPocket.com now to get my YouTube fix on the go but a more streamlined approach would be better.

The Ook video addin for Firefox hasn't worked for six months now. Read the comment on the page at Firefox addins. Why are Download.com still recommending it?
