I don't think so. Maybe for that small minority permanently attached to thier computer, but for the masses....no. For one, the short playtime is not encouraging. Second, I don't think most people are set up correctly to get the most out of it. More specifically, when I watch a movie, I want to watch it in my media room on my 50 inch plasma, with my full stereo system, comfortable couch and everything else. My computer might have a 24 inch widescreen, but it is not connected to my TV nor do I want to connect it. Most people I know are the same. Trust me, my house is wired but I just don't see the need for this. There are better selections out there such as through your cable and Netflicks.

It sounds like I need Apple TV to really make it work correctly and that is not going to happen. I am definately not interested in watching this on my iPod. The other issue I am not sure about is, I watch my movies now through BluRay. Can you even watch Hi-Def on this system? If not, I don't see the point.

I think for now there is potential for a small few and those who purchase Apple TV. For me, I prefer my current hi-Def set up. I'll wait for the next round.

I also woudl have a tough time getting through a full movie on a portable video player. I also envision probably watching half of a movie on the departure flight and half on the return, or watching it a little here and there during the week back at my hotel room. 24 hours to watch it? No thank you -- too limiting.

no, its a stupid idea and people don't want to watch a movie on their computer. Those who are few enough to connect their pc to a tv will have digital cable and can order movies through their service provider. I personally have netflix which I like for getting dvd's through the mail, but their online viewing service is only mediocre and my computer doesn't even come close to rivaling a 20+ inch HDTV. I also think its dumb that you can only watch the movie one time once you start the movie and it is available for only 24 hours after you start watching it.
