The registered trademark LEGOŽ
by LEGO Legal October 10, 2007 12:36 AM PDT
In order to avoid any misunderstanding, we would like to point out that the building bricks shown in the picture are not genuine LEGOŽ building bricks manufactured by the LEGO Group. The LEGO Group does not authorize or endorse this product. As trademark owners we are under the obligation to police our trademark. Use of the registered trademark LEGO for products not originating from the LEGO Group is misleading and may cause confusion. Therefore, the trademark LEGO cannot be used for this product. As we have no reason whatsoever to believe that you have intended to harm our trademark, we hope that you will understand and respect our position. - Harriet Lassen, LEGO Juris A/S.
