According to a Samsung representative, Samsung's new Blu-ray/HD DVD combo player will have onboard decoding for all high-resolution audio formats, including DTS-HD Master Audio.

I highly doubt support for those dead audiophile formats will be supported. The average consumer doesn't even know they exist. I own a couple of both and can't imagine why Samsung would pay more money to satisfy the few. Besides, I read some companies are issuing music using the new lossless formats like Dolby TrueHD.

I am ready to get this based on something so opposite of this master combo. I am basing it on my Samsung cell phone. It's the best. I used to think Samsung equals cheap. Now, I am a big fan of promoter the greatness of their products!
