You know...

...if they DID have cellphones in the 1940s, they would probably indeed look a lot like this Vertu. Seems to me that the company has done a good job (if such irrelevant--to the actual technology being package--retro tripe can ever be deemed as [i]being good in the first place[/i]) of capturing the essence of the mid 20th century, even if it doesn't resembly anything close to what that era's gumshoe hero, Dick Tracy, was using for [i]his[/i] wireless communications.

Vertu ascent 1

The first Vertu ascent also featured leather well before the colourful special
editions were released. Also somehow I dont believe that this is infact the real
Vertu Ascent T2, somehow this one seems cheaper then what a vertu should be.
