AUDI Q7 luck of judgment

You seriously cannot include the AUDI Q7 in a list of ugly cars. Ofcource it it is enormous, but pretty. Ideal for the SUV lovers.

Yep, you got it: SUVs ARE ugly!

SUV: Stupid, Ugly, Vehicle. Hard to see beauty in a three-ton hunk of metal that guzzles more fuel per passenger mile than anything else on the road. Thanks for making it clear.

You missed one...

What about that GHASTLY Scion XB boxmobile? Those are easily the ugliest cars
ever made. I agree that the Honda Element is pretty bad, but the Scion XB is
MUCH worse. When you combine the boxmobile with the 6-inch tires that most
people seem to put on it, it's just an ugly little imp of a car. I've never seen
anything quite as bad as the Scion XB.

Too bad for you! They're great urban runabouts.
by johnzocco June 21, 2007 3:02 AM PDT
They maybe ugly to you, but Scion sold over 60,000 xB's in 2006. That's more than the entire Volvo line. But then maybe you hate Volvos too. Beauty is subjective, and the xB is definitely a sight to behold, good or bad. I happen to love them, even the new one. I have an '06 and an '08. They may not be the best looking cars on the road to you, but they are sure one heck of a bargain. To each his own.

Its up to every person...
by krysovolk June 16, 2007 6:13 AM PDT
It's up to every person to decide what is ugly or not. If you think a car should be in that list, but its not, NO BIG DEAL! People have different opinions.

Is it really something to crave?

I really think that the redesigned CR-V is not something I crave. The front is just plain ugly, looks like a frog almost.

Anyone else remember the VW "Thing". One of the 1st SUVs, and it should have been the last. Right name though, "What the H**L was that ugly thing?"

Car beauty is subjective
by dickalmighty June 17, 2007 3:18 PM PDT
Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, there's no point in a bunch of geeks discussing such an abstract concept. And cars are not why I read CNET. If Car and Driver/Motor Trend/Automobile/Autoweek/etc started reviewing electronics or software, I'd be telling *them* to desist. Pick a niche and be good at what you do.
