Does anyone even bother with the PSP anymore?
by make_or_break April 29, 2007 11:38 PM PDT
Just wondering...

Considering how little I use my PSP these days, and how seldom anyone I know who has one uses their units, will anyone really NEED more power? ESPECIALLY for another 90 bucks?

Sounds like typical Sony arrogance again...thinking WHATEVER they come up is worth the premium.

Never thought the DS/DS Lite would whip this sucker, but even I'm convinced despite all of the kiddie games titles that dominate Nintendo's system.

who uses psp? look simple- get underground firmware for your psp. lookup "dark alex" custom firmware on google. i use 3.10oe custome firmware- 3gp converter changes any video stream to psp format- so u can watch any video u feel like on your mem stick, oe310 allows u to play games off your mem stick get iso compressor (backup isos....), ebooks- use pec (psp ebook creator)... look up pspupdates.com and stop whining about how bad psp is---- u are too dumb to realize psp is a miniature powerful laptop that fits in your pocket... i dumped my thumbdrives and blackberry -since i can get my email and surf with my psp- not to mention watch my music videos... if you don't want your psp- please sell it to me- since u find it useless..

Sony's arrogance?

Sure, Sony's got balls for forcing BluRay down people's throat, but arrogance? Do you even know what you're talking about? This product isn't even being offered by Sony, it's from Blue Raven Technology. Even if Sony is so "arrogant", even after the DRM scandal of last year, and the bulging, exploding batteries, Sony is still US's number one trusted brand:

Also, comparing the PSP to the DS is like comparing the Leapfrog Disney Princess Laptop to an Alienware Aurora, sure, they're both laptops, but ones "fun" and meant for kids, and the other's a HELL of a lot more powerful. (Oh, what do you know, the same can be said about the comparison to the Wii and the PS3!)
