I want this UMPC!!
by myth90045 April 18, 2007 2:54 PM PDT
I wouldnt mind sporting this UMPC...but my opinion on the question posed, will UMPC's ever go mainstream? I am not sure. if there is a big enough need for them then yes. Look at the tablet pc. How many people do you know own one of these or the conversion types. If the UMPCS are going to take off in the mainstream arena, they will have to provide one hell of a good use for users to want to go out and use these as opposed to their laptops.

Is Cnet going to the dogs?
by Hobster April 20, 2007 1:26 AM PDT
What a crappy site! I open the page to the UMPC news @ IDF and get a video playing what I suppose is some relevant content. Instead, it's an ad for Apple that's not apparent until its conclusion. Way to go!

Only when Apple decides to release one and claim they re-invented the computer.
