What the hell, why do capacities seem to be getting smaller and smaller on new mp3 launches? Where is the new 30gb 60gb gigabeat? here another mp3 player i have no interest in.

Did you ever consider that Toshiba already has their Gigabeat in a 30GB and 60GB model? Maybe that is why they are coming out with this smaller, newer version that is only 1 or 2 gigabytes. They are trying to appeal to the consumers that they missed with the launch of their larger, more expensive 30GB and 60GB models. Please think before posting stupid comments like yours.

I'm surprised you didn't mention how easy this will make it for people to listen to their MP3 tracks on their car stereo. Most people still don't have MP3 connections on their autos, and this means they don't have to pay for one either. Great for your quasi-techy crowd.
