With my 1080i 51" and the 1080p federal mandate at least 2 years off, I'm not going to pay extra for either. Well, hypothetically I WOULDN'T pay more, if I didn't have torrents and HRHD on my Xbox Media Center...

"While 3x DVDs provide the same high definition content, the trade off is that playback time is limited. ... about 85 minutes of 1080p video ... Let's just hope your home videos or training videos don't suck too when someone brings their girlfriend over to kick back and watch a movie at home.

One format please...

I don't want Sony to win. I want "us" to win. As a huge action/sci-fi movie fan, I have decided to I'm in favor of Blu-Ray. I can't say this decision is because Blu-Ray is "better" than HD-DVD.
