Crave says "The Lumix DMC-TZ3 is one of two ultrazoom cameras Panasonic has on the way". I bought a DMC-TZ3 in NYC summer 2006. Great camera. It does everything well. Its long zoom does not require the usual long extending lens - the TZ3 does it with electronics instead. The camera is quiet. Its got Automatic everything but with manual options too. In my first 2,500 pictures none have come out badly due to the camera, even ones in dim light environments.

The DMC-TZ3 is brand new...

Red2Flex, you must have a DMC-TZ1. The DMC-TZ3 (and the similar DMC-TZ2) are just coming out this year.

Easy to get confused though with the horrible model numbers Panasonic uses.

No View Finder

Is it a problem viewing the LCD screen in sunlight. Most LCD screens are rendered useless and since there is no view finder I want to know if this is a problem.
