Let the debate begin: Was the iPhone more important than iTunes? Was anything bigger than Google finding a great business model? CNET offers its list of the 10 most important stories of the '00s.
What's so new about this gadget?

Phillynet's post is mostly true. IR thermometers have been around for a number of years. What is special about my device is that it was designed specifically for wine. It is made to take the temperature of the wine itself, inside a glass. It is calibrated for the utmost accuracy in wine temperature ranges. Also, it has a proprietary retractable sensor. This allows the sensor to stay clean and protected with no lens caps to fumble. Easy one-hand operation. The sommeliers love it. On my website there's a killer wine temperature database for ultimate cork dork entertainment.
Anyway, thanks again for checking out this product.
Cheers,
Andrew
