WOW! Chasing lights on a table......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
I'd rather get out the laser pointer and play with the cat, oh wait, pretty much the same thing.

Wow... talk about tunnel vision! Picture this instead: You walk into your favorite restaurant and the menu is literally waiting for you on your table. In fact, the menu is the table! Or, imagine every table having a live video feed from the big game... or stock updates, or weather updates, or a virtual keyboard so you can access your email or.. etc., etc., etc. Now, maybe you'd still rather be home playing with your cat -- but I think the possibilities are pretty cool.
Lights and the PC

There are actually quiet exciting applications for light for the PC. Outside of ambient light, the system from http://www.a-r-e.nl comes Event Alerts (any systray event can be mapped to a light event), Imaginary Color Landscapes (color based on position of mouse on screen), Real Time Emphatic Text to Color translation (emphatic context sensitive colors while you type anywhere under Windows), and I read more light features are in the works.
