- ..and maxed it out. Actually the size kind of intimidated me at first, but after the video I realized it probably wasn't so bad. And as I used to sling one of those huge casette decks in the 80's, 18 lbs. is peanuts.It's not really a notebook its classified as a 'Desktop replacement', and it would be unfair to compare it to a notebook.....for the notebooks. This system would be perfect for a bachelor suite or that young professional still living at home. Its an entire entertainment suite in an 18 lbs. package. How could you go wrong? As soon as I saw it, I started to think of HOW I could use it,if you stop limiting it as a notebook its horizons really grow.
