I learned the hard way, which everyone does eventually about backing up. 11 years of research on my family tree, gone when the local power company shut off on the power 5 times in a row. I managed to regain most of it after 7 months more of work. Trust me, I looked at the Media server very wistfully. Excellent give away. Power backup unit next month?
