Just because its from apple, doesn't mean its the best nor cheapest idea. You didn't even mention the fact of all the other streaming services that could be offered with the sony online media extender.

I love netflix on my PS3 (along with UT, Amazon VOD, Hulu, adultswim, discovery, espn, etc...). I had no problem spending $20 on PlayOn- it was the best $20 I've spent in a long time.

- The firmware update that was released today, 11/13/2009, contains Netflix. Finally! You can only play what's in your Netflix Queue, but hey that's a start!
