The Verizon network is a clear advantage with Straight Talk. It's the best and I've had no dropped calls or any problems. $45 a month unlimited talk and text rules!

I am currently using Boost Mobile. I experience a lot of dropped calls with Boost Mobile. But the coverage area is far better than Cricket. However, on a recent trip out of town I found out the hard way that Boost has rather large no coverage areas in some parts of the country. The no coverage areas for the most part are rural areas. For this reason I am considering a switch to Straight Talk. Some things making me a bit leery about Straight Talk are the poor customer service and problems with number portability noted on other web sites.
